We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Specialist for our Reading, PA location.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials within the organization. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as handling inventory management tasks. You will work closely with various departments to support production, shipping, and other operational processes, ensuring that materials are readily available for use when needed. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate equipment will be essential for the success of this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Inspect incoming materials utlizing calipers and micrometers

· Assists with annual physical inventory audits.

· Operate forklift truck, along with side loaders and cranes when necessary.

· Perform other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent communication and organization skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department.

· Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

· Must be detailed oriented and work with minimum supervision.

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with ERP tools (SAP, Oracle). Experience with Infor VISUAL desired

· Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

· Ability to work overtime when needed.

Education and Preferred Experience:

· High school diploma or 3-5 years of equivalent experience required.

· Experience with cycle counting preferred

· Forklift operator certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds at times.

Work Environment:

· Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment (hot and cold)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
